Really, I prefer beef sticks, in particular Smokey Sweet beef sticks. But these turkey sticks are close. In addition, because these don't have the little (for hanging on a hook?) hole at the top of the packaging, they are easier to open than the beef sticks. That hole seems to frequently cause both sides of the package to stick together and you need a scissors to actually open the wrapper. These turkey sticks don't have that hole and that is welcome!
I was looking for a meat stick that was not beef. After a Google search and a bit of research into the ingredients of several brands, I happened upon Sogo where I discovered jalapeno turkey sticks and chimichurri turkey sticks that are so flavorful and satisfying. With clean ingredients and no sugar, they make an excellent protein snack when you're on the go. I have also tried the pork and pineapple sticks which are outstanding too. Highly recommend.
